Enchanted Ramblers

HRRVC Chapter 433 was organized on January 28, 1995 and chose the name "Enchanted Ramblers".  Jim Wood was elected the first President and Vera Wood was elected Secretary-Treasurer.   Their National Number is 65288.  They are still active members and participate in every scope of the club.  Jim is especially fond of  "Make-A-Wish" and has raised thousands of dollars for "the kids".  (His pet names for the many children who have benefited by his efforts).

The purpose of this club is spelled out  in Article II of the Constitution and Bylaws:

"The purpose of this chapter organization shall be to provide year-round opportunities for its members to: enjoy good fellowship and pleasant associations with fellow members and expanded use of their recreational vehicles; to foster friendship among all; to set an example of courtesy on the highway and of model conduct at meeting sites and in public campgrounds; to encourage the growth of recreational vehicle facilities in the United States; to disseminate advisory and educational information to its members and the public; to encourage the expansion  and improvement of existing recreational vehicle parking areas at reasonable fees; to participate in and be supportive of State , Regional and National HRRVC programs and activities in order to promote the success and welfare of the entire Club organization  and thus in turn its members."

Our group in Southern New Mexico has several planned campouts each year and sometimes "spur of the moment get aways".  We usually attend nearby  State Rallys in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.  Sometimes traveling as a caravan.  Most members  also belong to the two other New Mexico Chapters 81 and 357 and even Arizona Chapter 71.  Seems like when you get to meet these folks you really want to stay connected!

We have a Newsletter that is sent out to its members by e-mail and any notes of interest you would like to share, e-mail the Editor, Barb Geurin at gigi@tularosa.net.
